[A6] Beware ribbon hold

Note that the mod wheel behaves in essentially the same way: if you change mixes with the mod wheel set to a value other than zero, programs in the new mix will behave using that non-zero mod wheel value, but will reset when the mod wheel is moved, UNLESS the mod wheel is turned OFF for that mix channel. In that case, you're stuck with the mod wheel being on for those channels, until you either: A) power-cycle the A6, or B) turn ON the mod wheel for that channel, reset the mod wheel's position to zero, then turn the mod wheel back OFF for the channel.
I don't know that I'd necessarily call that a bug, but the A6 mix mode sure has a TON of quirks that it's good to be aware of ...

Subject: [A6] Beware ribbon hold
In rehearsal today, after an extended outro wank on the ribbon, I hit
HOLD to keep my filter setting glued down for the envelope release.
The next tune came up, and the offboard sequencer sent a new mix
program change. After three minutes of trying to figure out why the
mix sounded totally wrong, I finally discovered that HOLD was still
engaged.
But, turning off HOLD did not reset the ribbon value. The first
thing I did after this was to hit the ribbon to clear it. Nothing
happened! Hit the ribbon again, ribbon value zips back down to 0.
Has anyone else had this, and, watch out.
Mike
