[A6] Beware ribbon hold

OK, I understand. Here's how it went down:

- PROGRAMS use in the mix respond to ribbon
- MIX channels have ribbon disabled
- program change is received when ribbon is nonzero (HOLD is on)
- sounds are buggered
- ribbon value changed (ie HOLD turned off)
- too bad sucka. Change mix program and change back again.

I would call that a bug. MOD WHEEL OFF means MOD WHEEL OFF, as in,
this channel is not supposed to know about MOD WHEEL, *therefore
ZERO*. Thanks for the heads up on that one Doug. Potentially a very
nasty thing on stage.

Whenever I get testy and frustrated (like, presently) about these
"quirks" (ie bugs), I think to myself, somewhere in the world,
perhaps at this very moment, Nick Rhodes is cursing and swearing at
it too. Or so I like to believe. Nick? (who's to say, anyone could
be here) Has a run through "Save a Prayer" ever been ruined because
you forgot to turn off HOLD? Just curious.

And then I think, Numark is seriously dropping the ball. Hire a
software contractor already. Like, one, say. Please?
Sorry folks. Did I mention that I love this synth?
Mike
