[A6] A6 forgets key/note-on status -> note sequence doesn´t stop

hi to all,

has anyone else discovered the following behavior:
i am working in a mix, drum&bass sequences are runing from internal sync triggered by pressing the respective keys. i have pressed the sustain pedal to have my hands free for editing, while sequences keep running. after some time i release the sustain pedal, but not all sequences stop, i.e. the A6 seems to forget the key-pressed status. up to now i cannot 100% reproduce the behavior, but i have the feeling that it is connected to editing the sequencer while its running ...
what i have _not_ done (but could lead to similar) behavior: switching key-enable, switching sustain-pedal-enable, switching midi-chanel, ... just editing !?
to me it seems like a note-on buffer overflow, i.e. some bug in the OS. yesterday i had a hihat sequence (from the one of constructionkits) running which i couldn´t stop anymore. well, i could stop it with the sequencer stop button, but switching back to start the sequence was still running althoung no keys were pressed. also switching the mix works, of course ...
who can help ?????

or is it a (imo stupid) feature, it has to be a bug, otherwise i will sell the A6 and stay with my total analog gear .... ;-) well not at once ...

should i send this to alesis? was anyone experience with feedback to them ?

remarks: I am a newbee to the A6, approx. 6 weeks, but not at all to (analog) synths, so you can explain me the deepest most complex details and i will (hopefully) understand .... gear i use(d): (juno106,bit01->poor-midi,e6400,atari,)ms10,ms20,cs15,hohnerstrings,pc88,ea1,808, and so on ... so i should have some understanding. ot/btw: has someone a recommendation for a polyphonic sequencer (if possible no pc/mac-SW-based stuff), how works the rs7000?
