[A6] Sustain pedal/sequencer problem

Hi all,
I am having problems with my Andromeda when playing programs which use the
internal sequencer of the A6.
When using the sustain pedal while playing a note or chord the sequence will
often "stick" after releasing the sustain pedal. The notes of the sequence
continue to play, the notes themselves aren't sustained (hope this makes
sense).
This happens both when the Andromeda is connected to an external software
sequencer and also when MIDI cables are disconnected and the Andromeda's
clock is set to "internal". So it is not caused by a MIDI loop.
I can stop the sequence by either retriggering and releasing the sustain
pedal or by sending a controller 64 message with value of 0 from my software
sequencer.
Also of interest, if I am playing a program which uses the internal
sequencer and arpeggiator at the same time, when I have the sustain pedal
problem the sequencer continues playing however the arpeggiator stops.
Also related to this; if I am using the Andromeda with Logic and have for
example recorded a part for channel 1 starting at bar 20 the Andromeda
sequence will sometimes start playing at bar 1 even though notes don't
actually start until bar 20.
My Andromeda's OS is 1.40.12
Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Matt
