[A6] greetings and hopefully some help

Greetings All,

I'm the proud new owner (as of yesterday) of an A6.  What an awesome thing it is.

I've been RTFM and pouring through the archives, but a couple of things haven't made it through my thick skull just yet, so please bear with a couple of newbie questions.

I'm using Emagic Logic as my main midi sequencer.  I found the environment object for the a6 (thanks to whoever wrote that!) and have it set up with the proper bank change messages etc.  

I notice that when in program mode I can only get logic to play one voice/patch on the A6.  Is this actually the case?  It would appear so based on the documentation.

To get multiple voices out of logic, I believe I need to create a custom mix while the synth is in mix mode that enables all of the midi channels that I need.  Is this correct?  Just making sure I get this right.  Is there anyway that I can call what patch is on what voice/midi channel from within Logic while the synth is in mix mode?  Or do I need to define these on the synth itself?

The A6 seems to think a little differently than other synths I own, and I'm still trying to get my head around it, so my apologies if these questions have been answered a million times before.  

I've also been searching around to see if there's an A6 faq to no avail.  Does such a thing exist?
