"Voice random" is actually a randomly generated number, per oscillator I
believe (there is also a single global random I think as well, but I may be
way off on this). You would have to sync it up to something like the S&H
module to offset randomly per note (the S&H sync btw is handy for doing
small random-ish stereo spreads without chorus).

A random LFO or S&H based off of voice random works well, too, if you have
the spare LFO/S&H to utilize. I like using Unison Detune (2 voice) in
conjunction with these methods. Makes a nice thick sound.

To the left and to the right and... :) The modulars especially are
notoriously instable... the Minimoog gets better with various revs (but less
warm, say some.)

Myself, I find that the best sound out of the A6, as a whole, comes with
turning Autotune off and leaving Temptune on. In this mode, the A6 seems to
have a nice 80s polysynth sound, with quite a bit more stability and quite a
bit longer of a tuning time compared to some. :) Turning off temptune
actually doesn't add too much to my ears, and severely impacts tuning
stability.

I don't think you can get Moog Modular thickness out of an A6 easily, but
then again, microtuning 16 voices every three songs at a gig would suck too.
