[A6] andromeda alternatives?

sorry,  There is no alternative......
All the older real analogs are bigger. heavier, or have worse bugs, like tuning and maintenance....
memorymoog / cs-80, etc.

Although I can beleive one day there will be VA that sounds like analog, with much faster and possibly multiple
DSP at very high bit / sample rates. Analog is mainly substractive synthesis once you substract from a 16 bit wave, there is not much left , specially in the low end frequencies.... 

I work a lot with image editing / digital photography.... never as good as analog film..... until I recently got to play with
128 bit colour files....   well, actually better than film ( because the limitations of today's film standards )
So VA has a chance, a few years from now.

I would keep the A6....

A6 is the one.
