Just need to correct this:
Plex is not even close to the neuron..
The basic idea is the synth "creates" its own parameters, analyses the
signal using FFT (fast fourier transformation) and you can now morph from
one "sample" (which is in fact the analysed version of that sample) to
another to go slowly from a trumpet to a dog bark (or something)..
There is also a function that allows you to "pull over" the parameters of
the other analysed sample onto the other!..
Additional to that you can set parameters like "more wooden or more
metallic.."..
The current situation is still "on hold" .. It's close to get released but
the one I listened to was a preliminary demo.. (filters not working etc..)
Maybe this makes it easier..
Btw: plex isn't like that at all..
It's only one of those ideas mixed into the philosophy.. The result is
different..
I still have a small video demo online, but I will not really say much..
This synth is better to have your own ears and hands on..
Ok. That¹s the 1st & last statement.. Hope it helps a bit about whats inside
(additional to marks words, well.. But I do not think the same about plex!!)
