Please note, sysex can only transmit 7 bits of useful data per byte. This
isn't an Alesis creation; it's a MIDI standard. Any time the MS bit is set,
the byte is interpreted as a command, not data.

On the A6 page, there is a much more detailed sysex document that describes
the Program, Mix and Global buffers (no Effects info yet). It's at:

I have a slightly updated version (after receiving input from Cyril) that I
will post later (when our internet connection at work is back up). But,
this can get you started.
