[A6] mix weirdness.

hey all,

hope we're all well.

i've got a problem i just can't work out ...

i've got a mix set up using a program that works fine in program mode, 
all singing all dancing, but through a mix its dead, no sound at all. 
stuffing the same program through a different channel on the mix does 
the same thing, no sound at all ... doesn't respond to midi or the 
keyboard on either channel.

there isn't any effects or routing (main/aux) differences better the 
program and the mix.  any ideas?  i'm lost now, i've tried everything i 
can think of.

any pointers would be great, thanks.
