increase the SysEx buffer size to 4096 bytes & the buffer count to 
128 and try again.

this is important for XP users in particular - AFAIK the multi-
threaded nature of XP results in much a faster arrival of the SysEx 
packets at the application level. 

BTW: A6 Banker users may be interested to know that i'm currently 
working on an updated version which will feature Program and Mix 
renaming and a few other niceties. I reckon it will be available 
within a couple of weeks. As always, this update will be free of 
charge for registered users
