[A6] Sending banks and getting corrupt patches

I'm not saying that just having a patch bay is automatically the cause
but if there was a bad connection in it, then that can be a problem.
Also, if it's a programmable patch bay, it might be excluding
(filtering) some data by mistake. I don't know about the "active
sensing" thing.

I do have a midi patch bay in between but why is that bad?! I don't
think
it's filtering anything but you might be right. I just tried the
shareware
version of Mark's program and the same thing happens. Half of the bank
is
corrupt and I have to reset the A6. I'm gonna try to rig something
tonight
after work to bypass the patchbay and see what happens. Does the A6 send

MIDI Active Sensing messages, just curious?

Are you going through a patch bay or something? Sounds like a bad
connection somewhere. I use MidiOx, and it works fine for me on the
default settings. Check your cables for loose or shorted connections and
if you have ANY gear between the computer and the A6, I would bypass the
other gear and patch directly if you can.

Mark's A6 banker is just fine, and not expensive
