[A6] Sending banks and getting corrupt patches

Oh man!  That's what you get for buying B-stock!

Seriously though, I made some posts about this in the archives.  Play 
with the buffer size and the number of buffers.  The size in 8-bit bytes 
of a patch is 2048, the size in 7-bit bytes is 2350.

You can also check out JSynthLib, a free software (open source) MIDI 
librarian that works on all platforms that have Java support.  It has an 
A6 driver.
