Are Tempo and Master Clock as mod sources the same?

I'm experimenting with clocking LFOs to tempo. On some static patches (I
mean with no seq or arp) modulating the LFO with Master Clock and modulating
it with Tempo seem to sound different from each other. Is there any reason
this would be the case? It is inconsistant between the patches but I can't
see a reason for it.

The master clock is set to internal BTW

also is there any way of dividing the tempo, for example so I can trigger my
LFO frequency to be a half of the Master Clock?
