[A6] Anyone tried this with an A6?

MIDI doesn't need a separate gate input, as the 'gate'
concept is built-in. NOTE-ON triggers the first phase
of the envelope. NOTE-OFF triggers the release. If you
just connect Fat Controller and A6 by MIDI cable,
you're set. No different from any other MIDI
sequencer.

If you want to use pure analogue CV, you will need to
trigger the envelope by some other means, e.g. by
holding down a key or sustain pedal. Analogue control
does have advantages, though:you can switch off
voltage quantisation on the FC, so you're not bound to
the usual 12-tone equal temperament scheme. Also, the
SLIDE function which you can switch on per note, so
that the CV slides up or down from the previous note.
