i am *not yet* an owner of an andromeda, but am inching closer every day...  the $$$ is slowly building to the majic number...
 
instead of incurring the risk of an ebay or similar purchase, i have decided to get a new unit.  my only question is this- since alesis was bought by numark, has the quality of the build as far as the andy is concerned gotten better, worse, or is it the same?  is it even a factor when considering the purchase?
 
i have spoken with several owners, and this doesn't seem to be an issue, but i thought i would post it here as well.  is there anything else i should be aware of?
