Thank you for reminding my why I bought a soft case for my A6!  (Third-story studio [that may be second-floor to Europeans - two flights of stairs, either way] + ~monthly gigs = I'd be out of my mind to put it in a hard case; on the other hand, if I was *touring* rather than gigging locally, that would be a very differnet story.)
