You already have a Minimoog, why bother to make any other synth sound like
that particular one then? Use the minimoog for the bass, the A6 can do a
hundred things more than the basic minimoog. I don't like this trend that
every synth has to mimic another well-known oldie..they didn't make them in
the old days to emulate eachother, on the contrary they were in fierce
competition to sound different yet useful. And nowadays, you can't find a
single synth that doesn't claim to sound like a moog or prophet..A6 has a
sound of its own (growly, gritty, fat, juicy, whatever you wanna make of
it). Why try to make it something it is not?

No I don't think your A6 is defective. I own several vintage analogue sizers
and in my opinion the A6 doesn't sound as warm and fat as say a Prophet~5,
OB8 or JP8. I also own a Model D and a Voyager and the A6 doesn't come near
to have the same bass and oomph as those sizers. (and the Voyager doesn't
come near to have the same bass and warmth then the Model D)

I don't say that I don't like the A6, it is a fantastic analogue sizer with
a lot of advanced features. It will keep us turning it's knobs for many
years. And it beats any DCO or VA sizer out there.
