[A6] programming question

I am working on a siren-type patch. When I hold down a note, the pitch slides
up to a certain point (using ENV1) and sustains there until I release a key,
when it then begins to slide down in pitch. Then, I am triggering the note
again during the release stage. I found out analog mode works best for what I
am going for, because rather than start the new note over at the starting
pitch, I just want the note to ascend from the current point in the release
stage. This seems to work pretty well, but when I press a new note, there is a
snapping sound. I assume this is because the note has to quickly move to the
current pitch. all of my envelopes are set the same. is there anything i can do
to make the pitch slide more smoothly when I trigger the envelope again?

thanks
jc
