...that if you press & hold soft button 8 on power up, it replaces the
factory default program and mix banks in flash ROM with your user
program and mix banks?

In other words, IT'S A BUILT IN DATA BACKUP FOR YOUR USER BANKS!

If you're at a gig or session and your user banks are corrupted - NO
PROBLEM, press & hold soft button 3 while powering up, and they're restored.

The A6 does not like brownouts (low AC voltage) or overvoltage. My
apartment outlets measure almost 130VAC, should be 115VAC. I lost data
in the Andromeda for the second and last time - time to dig out my variac.

I once played a gig with a bad extension cord causing only 90VAC to make
it to the gear - didn't find it until the 2nd set. Many things
malfunctioned. The sound board was noisy, the guitar wireless crapped
out, the Hammond didn't sound right. The Andromeda was utterly
unplayable although its memory was not corrupted. But my Voyager and
Moog Synamp tolerated the brownout without complaining.
