[A6] First Post: fx sync / voice stealing

Hello everybody, this is also my first post
and i am a recent and very excited owner of an A6 in Paris
man I love this sound ... it's nothing like the VAs I used to own ...

While browsing through the manual and the mailing list, i had noticed that
no sync was possible between fx and clock .

This made me think about a very small wishlist about the A6 OS, from small
things such as delay sync up to big features like a programmable arpeggiator
...
I also read that no OS updates were planned from Alesis, that the
developpers
where gone so a new OS is nor planned neither possible

Reading the last mail and the wishlist "archives" made me end with this
question :
has Alesis made the OS sources available ? if not is there anything that can
be done ?

I know it seems a very hard work to understand, compile and test a new OS,
but i
belive that something interesting can come out either from the effort of an
individual ( me? )
or from the Open Source community ... is there any hope about all this ?

thanks and "a bientot"

Davide Bruzzi
