[A6] First Post: fx sync / voice stealing

Unfortunately, no synchronization of the effects. On the A6, the effects
section was just a quick Add-On to make it do some nice things, but not a deep
device. It would have been nice, but as they really had to rush it out, the
programming ALL went into making the OS for the synth.
Question: Is there any way to synchronise delay / chorus effects to incoming
midi clock. I can't seem to find it in the manual, or by browsing the A6
effects interface?
Also, I created a mix of 7 programs, each on separate midi channels, 3 of
which contained arps as part of the program and 2 with sequences. I heard serious
voice stealing / notes cutting off. Now, it is a farily busy midi sequence,
but I was still surprised to witness what happened. Would I be better off to
export the arp notes and sequence notes as midi to my sequencer (ProToolsLE on
XP) and drive from there?
I don't think it will change anything. In order for voices to be "stolen" you
have to exceed the note capability (as I'm sure you know). Where the notes
are played from is not an issue - but you might check to see that some voices
are not "stacks" of 2 or 4 notes, and maybe shorter Release times. It's hard to
say without knowing the patch better, but it can run out of notes fairly
easily depending on what you're doing.
Welcome, Dublin! (A cool city - nice people there...)
