Phone your airline and check for size and weight limitations.  I don't 
think size is a problem.  As for weight ... typically it's 32kg, or 70 
lbs, per piece.  You pay hefty overweight charges with most airlines. 
My A6 in Gator case is about 70 lbs.  Also, airlines don't usually offer 
insurance on electronics, I think.  As for whether or not it'll make it 
... I'd rather have my A6 on an aeroplane than in the back of a truck.
