I would agree. Is that part of the problem as far
For example, here is the issue that I would describe, concerning the mod wheel not
resetting at all:
- Go to any patch in BANK MODE with signifigant modulation (the modulation usually
uses the standard CRoute / LFO system that is default).
- Start with the mod wheel down.
- Turn the mod wheel ALL THE WAY UP. Watch the modulation!
- With the bank wheel ALL THE WAY UP, go to a MIX MODE PATCH.
- Notice how there is no modulation until you move the wheel, where it instantly
jumps to max. This seems quite odd with normal ways of thinking -- you'd think a
patch change would reset pitch and mod wheel to the current point.
- Now, move the mod wheel down to 0.
- Go back to the same patch in BANK MODE that you started with
- Ack! Notice that the modulation is all the way up even though the wheel is at 0!
OS: 1.40.12
This is repeatable across several patches / mixes that I've tried, should be easy for
you folks to emulate. :)
This *also* can be emulated on the pitch wheel. Use the same technique except play
with the pitch wheel except the mod wheel.
This, as I've said, is my biggest gripe as it makes live playing occasionally frustrating.
If I'm ending on a big pitch bend somewhere and switch patches before the spring
comes fully rested, all of a sudden everything in a mix can seem out of tune. Kind of
annoying.
