  The early Nord stuff (I've only heard a Lead 1, Lead 2, and I have a
Modular) have a very distinctive, precise, and some would say cold
sound.  That can be exactly what you want if you are after a screaming
lead that doesn't so much fill the sonic space as cut through anything
else around.  I find the A6 to typically sound pretty big, and that
size isn't necessarily compatible with the notion of a cutting lead.

  I wouldn't be surprised if you had great difficulty nailing NL-type
sounds on the A6...and the A6 will never have the cool pitch stick.
