[A6] Who's getting busy with their Andromeda

It's a good idea, I'd like to get more into programming my A6.

I think a first step is to collect as many patches as we can in one
place, and categorize them by style -- bass, strings, brass, pads, etc.
-- for starters, I imagine most of these would come from the 9 preset
banks available from Alesis. There's a large range of sounds already
out there, and whilst some of them may be quite digital, it's still
worth doing, if only to learn what makes an A6 patch sound overly
digital. I haven't even finished going through all my Alesis patches
picking which ones I like . . .

There's also some preset banks floating around that have different
patches on them that I'd be interested in getting, such as the
"Strawberry Flutes" patch -- we talked about this a couple of months ago
but it never went anywhere.

Finally, everyone involved in such an undertaking would need to commit
to reading and learning the manual and tips and tricks documents
thoroughly first ... I myself have not done this yet.

I don't mean to put a damper on anything, but there's a *lot* of A6
information already out there and nobody wants to reinvent the wheel --
certainly once a group have people have done this much your idea would
be a great one, I think there's a lot of untapped potential in this
beast. Organization is a bitch though and I think that's why this
hasn't really happened yet .....
