The simple answer is, the main advantage of an old Minimoog is the lower 
price. But - the new Voyager does about 30x more things, making the old Minimoog 
very limited.If you use it only occasionally, the old one might be good. But if 
you use it a lot, definitely the new one. And if you want it to become even 
more pwoerful, with extra equipment - modules, Expander, Control Processor - it 
can do about 100 times what the old one can. It really depends on your 
creativity. If you just want simple synth sounds, an old one is good.

I had both, the onld Minimoog was my favorite synth, and sold the old one 
after 6 months of not using it. They have the same "snappy" envelopes, and the 
new Voyager has many more sound possibilites, plus memory and MIDI....
