um, shit.
i can't remember the last time i uploaded banks to my computer (still
haven't done it for boele).
which receive settings do you mean?
to get to what i'm talking about, click "view", then click "sysex..."
this opens the "sysex view and scratchpad" window.
in this window click "sysex" and then "configure..."
this opens the "configure" dialog
my settings are:
low level input buffers : 2048 bytes, 128 num
low level output buffers: same thing
delay: 250 ms
tick delay after f7 (250 ms)
tick show f0-f7 in coloured text
other than that, i noticed in the options menu in the main midi-ox
window, i have "pass sysex" ticked, along with "midi filter".
i can't see where else you mean to set the "receive settings" ...
although you could try setting the 2048 and 128 in the "configure
buffers..." dialog of the options menu in the main midi-ox window.
hope this helps, if you still can't make it work, try reinstalling your
midi device and midi-ox, and check especially that you have the latest
drivers from the manufacturer's website (windows xp might have a
problem). if it still doesn't work . . . well, post your problems and
everything you've tried. i'm FAR from a MIDI expert, but if you do that
much i think someone else here (or perhaps elsewhere) will be better
able to help you.
btw, check alesis' website in the a6 section or the download section in
response to your latest email.
cheers,
chris
