[A6] sysex problem

make sure you are in the sysex window of midi ox, and set the buffer 
size to 2048 bytes, the size of a single patch in the bank, and increase 
the number of buffers to 128 (the number of patches in a bank).  this is 
what worked for me -- i wrote about it recently on the list if you look.

l still haven't had a chance to look at boele's stuff, so i can't 
confirm whether or not it works for me.
