Subject: [A6] arp section/a6 as first synth

My arpeggiator doesn't seem to work very well anymore...this morning I
worked
for a long time trying to figure out why the start/stop button press
didn't
turn on the arp. Turning it on from the soft button didn't work either,
even
after changing many patches. The sequencer works fine on all patches.
Finally I
went to a user program and cross-checked with a program i knew had an
arp saved
with it, and then the button started working again. Now it seems to be
fine.
This has happened to me before. Has anyone seen this? It is very
frustrating.
Thanks a lot, hope you can help.
BTW I have had this synth since April 2001, and it was my *first* (and
only)
synth. It has been great; I have found that since I am not very
knowledgable
in subtractive synthesis, tweaking existing patches is an easier way to
create
sounds, and there are plenty of sounds available thanks to generous
users of
this list. The downside is that music creation is slower when you are
still
figuring out the synth two years later, and hopefully I am not
experiencing an
intermittent problem with my arp section. My 2cents on the A6 as first
synth
argument.

Thanks,
Jason
