[A6] tuning

Hi,

I was talking to a local audio shop about the A6, and they said that it 
would need to get professionally tuned every year or two.  I don't think 
the guy made that up since he spoke to Alesis here in Montreal.  I 
thought the A6 had it's own tuning functionality, but he said that even 
so, it's still better to get it tuned once in a while.  Anyone else 
heard anything about this?  How expensive is it?  What happens in 20 
years (yes, if I get an A6 I'm hanging on to it).
