Nope. I have absynth, I've been eyeing steinberg's Plex, and we run
Kontakt in the studio. The three of these cost under $1000. I see no
reason to spend $5000 to be another company's beta tester. I'm sure the
Neuron is neat, but it's going to be obsolete by the time the hardware is
finished. I mean, people still buy the Waldorf Wave for the bragging
points, but you can do everything that unit can with a good computer
anyway.

Same, agreed.

I think it was a big waste of time and effort on Hartmann's part,
designing a niche product for a niche market that's decreasing with every
new microprocessor released.
If they send me one for free, perhaps I'll change my mind. :) Otherwise,
it's just more of the same. Innovative, to me, is Absynth 2.0, Ableton
Live, the Yamaha 01x, and that keyboard-with-a-pc-in-it, the name of which
i can't remember. Perhaps the technology behind the Neuron is innovative,
but it's drowned in so much marketing nonsense that I really can't tell.

It's fine with me, really. Better than a wishlist for an OS alesis won't
even update. :)
