It's not insulting...i'll go first-
 
I have an interest in being creative.  I have a job where I get to be
creative (graphically) and I would like to explore other creative
outlets(musical).  I would someday like to create some cool trance music for
my own personal enjoyment and amuzement.
 
My studio is a great distraction from going home and watching television, or
reading a magazine.  It's fun for me to just go down and experiment, even if
the stuff I come up with totally sucks (most of the time it does.)
 
That said...
 
One can't deny the truth about boys and their toys (sorry ladies).  Half the
fun of coming home is being able to go into my studio and simply admire all
the resources and planning that went into creating a studio.  It's not a lot
different than owning that super fancy riding lawn mower.  Half of it is
being able to mow the lawn, half of it is being the envy of everyone on your
block.
