Who are the OS source mainainers?  It might be possible to convince 
Alesis to release the source and development tools ... we have a 
moderately active list here (about 20 people pitch in when something 
interesting comes up), and a few programmers, and Alesis hasn't touched 
it for over a year now.

Perhaps if we made a coordinated effort asking them to release the OS, 
they would consider it -- a petition, or something like that -- it helps 
everyone out and I don't think that Alesis has anything to lose -- most 
of the proprietary stuff is in the hardware, I imagine.

Sooooo ....... who to talk to?  Does anyone have an email address for them?
