I know someone who has owned both. I'll ask him of his opinion
later today.
I would say the Omega 8 would sound fatter, deeper and more organic due to
the discrete
nature of the synth.
Although it does sound somewhat clean and polite from what I have heard
of it.
The bane of modern synths :)
They sorta sound similar in a broad character sense, ie kinda Moogy.
The A6 would be the more "sterile" of the too.

Omega 8 did have OS issues, not sure if that has been fixed.
