This is a problem caused by the fact that the machine
does not have a MIDI clock Auto setting, where it will
automatically sync to external midi clock if it hears
it, then switch back when it doesn't.
Thus, since Cubase doesn't transmit clock when it's
stopped, you won't have clock for the synth. It's a
total pain in the a**, eh? Just solo a blank track in
Cubase and hit play and let it go, and you should be
ok. (if annoyed)
