Subject: [A6] Levelling questions

values does the bus clip ? In the "Using A6 Public" document, I've read that
the sum of all active OSC levels should be below 100. The sum of all active
Filter levels shouldn't exceed 100 as well. But what about the resonance
values ?

when setting levels in the mix mode ?

It depends on the waveforms and how many sources there are etc

with the pre filter - 50 is a good guide, I sometimes like 33....

Now iwith teh 12db Obie filter, the higher the resoannce the greater the
overdrive
so with resonance up high aroudn 85-90, I like to keen the pre-filter levels
under 20.
or below 15 for pure tones, becuas ethe of the volume boost from the high
resonance,
this is not a problem.
But it is annoying when trying to combine the 12db and 24 db filters
together, a sthe 24db
filter has the oppoiste responce :(

The post filter mixer is more subject to taste. Again 50 is a good guide,
but just tweak till it sounds good.
In time you will hear the differences. Using the sine waves is a good
learning tool
