Agreed..
The andro also sounds moogish ;)
I got a moog modular beside the a6 (and the xpander..)
And there is a difference..
I'd be happy if alesis could re-scale the moog filter..
Because tuning it down is not easy and the scaling itself is -somewhat
strange-

Means: turn up the resonance: nothing happenes.. So about half turn no
"colouring" of sound.. Means: needs to be recaled, because: the reso-range
could be more useful..
This is not a complaint.. But it is strange..
Also the SEM filter sounds much more powerful for that reason..
And some others that I do not have on the modular.

And still the lfos are slow (the xpanders lfos are slow,too)..

Anyway: there is a lot of good sounds in the andro!!
I simply do not know why a synth that is so well designed has this kind of
little "odd" things..?

I'm sure most of this could be done by software updates (even 10Hz more for
the lfos and another scaling) or a bit closer to perfection..

Anyway: it is my favourite synth on stage because of its very good and
convining sound and playability..

I'd also welcome a 3octave-version of the andro!! I'd really buy it!!!
(better for live, smaller like the virus indigo)

So maybe alesis are listening..
The indigo sells well and is also much more expensive than the normal virus
model. So why not making a 3oct and racked version..

And: no need to change the OS on it!!
And: I am sure there are enough ppl that would buy it..

There are not many new analogue synth of THIS KIND on the market..
And vintage gets more expensive every day.. (in germany you need to pay
800Euro for a simple ms20!!..)

Anyway: my xpander will not leave the house ;)
