[A6] old habits die hard

That¹s what I believe,too!
In addition to that I assume: the a6 was never made to be the "SELLER"..
It was made to get some attention to a non-synth company (well do not count
the QS as a SYNTHESIZER,huh) ;)
Imagine waldorf without the wave..
So the ion will sell better because it is a "post-andro"..

This is not a bad thought.. I do think this makes sense and maybe alesis
broke their neck about decreasing ADAT sells.. (anyone still buy adats?) ;)

I also could still imagine a racked/reduced version.. (as jeff said)..
Like the microQ and Q..
Not many knobs, but some and only 4-8 voices.. No ribbon,2 line display
max., 4xmulti or maybe polymode only etc..

Or no knobs and computer controlled only.. But "fully operational" but less
voices..

As long as they do not need to re-engeneer it!!..
Because we know the andro developers do no longer work for alesis..

And don't forget the ION!!..
It was under development when the old alesis company died..
