[A6] filter feedback (effect unit VERY disappointing)

agreed. i've got a Lexicon Reflex f.i. (the Alex with midi control) 
which, at a mere 16bit / 32K resolution sounds much better than amany 
contemporary 24 bit multi-fx boxes. IMHO it's the algorithms and not 
so much the hardware specs that really make a good reverb.
