Me too. The biggest feature you forgot is the memory card that only
comes on the 8080. Basically, the unit can have 99 banks of 128 presets
stored on the card, all accessable realtime just like the Andro. Way
cool. Definitely encourages playing around with and saving a sound, when
storage isn't an issue.
I like the sound, and it definitely has a great set of factory patches.
It's actually the very first VA synth I bought - got it back when it was
new. It's pretty simple to understand and use, and it has a lot of nice
utilities and features. If you get to play with one, run through all the
demos on it. It's got at least 12, I think, and they are mostly very
good. You'll be amazed what a dual-timbre synth can do. (I think that's
the right description? It's multi-timbral but only with 2 patches, that
can be used seperately or together)
