[A6] OT: JP8000 comments required

I've got the JP8080 (rack mount version) which I purchased before the Andromeda. It has a few extra
goodies over its keyboard laden sibling. the 8080 gives you two more voices, a vocoder and maybe a
couple of other things I can't remember.
As for the sound, its pure Roland but I don't think its near as warm as the Andromeda (and no where
near the Memorymoog). I'm not saying its not useful as I've corralled a few sounds out of it I like. I
kind of think its the modern day big brother of my Alpha Juno.
If you have access to one, twiddle around with it. It does have some pretty sweet string sounds (if
you can find them) but it is Virtual Analog.
Granted, I haven't spent as much time with the JP since I got the Andromeda last January. ;)
