The andromeda was the best purchase EVER - put real warmth and crunch
into our tracks. As to kids being able to afford good gear I personally
think that’s part of the whole musical development thing too and being
committed to your music.

We had to be realists and work "real" jobs while doing the band stuff as
well and the sense of satisfaction when it all came together was greater
because of it - So many of the successful electronic artists become so
after really working at it for a long time. How old were Underworld,
Norman Cook etc when they really made it.

There are teenagers doing it too but most of the scene where I am is the
24 to 35 year olds and they really know their gear. Teenagers seem to be
more successful with rock and other less production based music than
electronic.

This is just an observation and a massive generalisation but I just
thought I'd say my bit...
