hallo,
i have the andromeda for about 3 month's now . Sold a couple of analog mono
synth's for it and didn't regrett it for one moment yet. although i seem to
have a taiwan type everything seems to work fine except when i don't fully
understand what i'm doing. on the moment i'm still perfecting my default
preset( and find some nice sounds at the same time) and as for updates i
already have some idea's. like what about if i could change the default
preset right away instead of copiing it about 127 times. also a straight
toggling between two or more pages (like b.e. tracking generator and
ribbon/modulation page) or even more convienent being able to immediately
reach the source when pressing softbutton one when in editing a modulation.
much further would be the possibilty to completily interact the software
parts with all there values as source and /or destination and even maybe a
possibility to calibrate the available values myself (like with the
softsynth reactor). (i actually know a guy who is able and willing to put an
effort on this if alesis is willing to give him that task, or some money of
the users, and the info needed). also helpful for live would be a function
where i could be able to set the value when the pots react. for now it's
just when you go through the original value or otherwise when you "breath"
at the pot.
but anyway i think it's a great synth allready and one has to live with its
limits.
one limit i found disturbing however was the fact that when unpacking the
beast i lifted it by the front right plastic part/next to the keyboard.
result :screw underneat broke and now lose on one side. guess this could
have been made a bit more solid.
oke , i'm becoming a bit long on words so here is my question:
in the tips and tricks nr 5.3 somebody explains that on the envelope time
page softbutton 8 enables a feature called lock ( it should cause all stages
that are off to remain off regardless of their pot setting) . i don't seem
to find that helpful function no matter what i've tried. who has a sollution
for this?
greetings sunny
