Excellent, thanks for the article.
Hmm, I'm thinking my "theory" is beginning to sound correct. :) I'd like to
see if:
- Whether changing to log envelopes reduces clicks (if using linear envs)
- Whether adding a frequency dependant modulation to the attack/decay times
reduces clicks while increasing perceived speed (eg is the clicking
phenomenon frequency dependant?)
- I'm guessing the "analog" envelope mode with unison bass-lines and leads
would also help since it would keep envs steady from one note to the next
(as I understand how that mode works...)
The cool thing with the A6 is you can do these things to try it out. :)
Sometime, maybe, if I have time (hah!) I'll look into this...
