This is true, but different attack slopes, even at 1ms, produce an audibly
'different' click.  Back on TGS some time ago there was a long discussion
re: psychoacoustics, sample rate and bit level perception, and the like etc.
and someone had made some samples of this phenom, a saw wave with several
different attack shapes (lin, log, exp, etc.  he made them in Matlab if I
remember correctly) at 1ms, and you could clearly hear the diff.  The ears
are complex things :-)  I'll see if I can find the post, but since TGS
changed their search engine, its pretty useless now.
