[A6] tones missing

In Mix mode each voice has a note range that the voice responds to, which
allows you to set up layers and splits. Perhaps the note range is omitting
some of the notes you're playing? I believe in mono mode all notes are
active.

i want to ask my question again since we are talking about mix mode and it is
related. four sequences are being played by the sequencer, set up in 4 splits.
the note range of the top 2 (pad and lead) do not overlap because i do not want
both to sound simultaneously if i play a note. however, i want to be able to
solo the lead patch over the range of the pad range 1) w/o having pad or any
other sequence stop (this is what happens when you press SOLO for the lead
sound) and 2) w/o the pad playing notes while i play the lead patch over its
range. is the only way to do this by turning the KBD param off on all patches
except the lead and resetting the lead patch's KEYBD LO ? this synth _is_ a
beastie--have patience for those for whom it is taking a while to understand.
