I'm pretty sure this has been mentionned anyway but i think its important to assert how utterly crucial this is for people who want to use their a6 as an actual part of their hardware rig and not just sample it or use it stand-alone - mix mode upgrade. The a6 should (like every other instrument can) be able to : -Operate at all even divisions of BPM, only within a reasonable range of course (40bpm-200bpm) but everything from 1 to max would be nice -Synchronize perfectly with instruments when sequenced externally upon playback -No hanging notes -Ideally (would be SO nice considering the "round/grooviness" of the internal sequencer and arpeggiator) be able to synchronize (refers back to my first bullet) when a key-on/key-off external sequence triggers the a6's arpeggiator or sequencer -Probably not very likely, but sound as close as possible (when properly neutralized and tuned regularly) to the way it sounded when you first made a patch and sequenced it, as when you play the patch and sequence back at a later date. With all the others features fixed, this last fix would probably bring the a6 closer to being a digital alternative in terms of reliability and effectiveness as any analogue has ever come. It would be my *dream* to be able to count on an analogue as part of my live rig, especially when forgetting about all the digital modules and having it be true analogue from oscillator all the way to the listeners ears through an analogue console. In fact the only other reason i haven't sold mine yet (besides the fact that it sounds both incredibly unique and can imitate many of its predecessors) is because of a fleeting dream that one day the bugs i mentionned above would be fixed in a final OS update. I would practically pay the cost of another one just to get those bugs fixed! Cheers Kieran Coulter SSUN Studios Ottawa PS : I've been out of the loop, is there any chance of another OS upgrade? _____________________________________________________________ goatrance.net - psychedelic trance and free e-mail service : http://goatrance.net
