hi list, haven't posted on here in a long time because i've been perfectly happy with it the way i've been using it, until recently, when i decided i really wanted it in my rig despite the risk in gigging with it (thats another topic, where to find the best a6 case???) 

anyways, i tried the desktop and laptop thing but softsequencing just doesn't do it for me, being used to workstations, so i got the old but seemingly trusty Q-80 to specifically sequence the a6, and have run into a few problems on setup, the only one i think is specific to the a6 is the fact that i can't seem to use the a6 as a controller keyboard for itself. i can get it to play itself (obviously) and i can get step sequence data from the q-80 to trigger the a6, so the midi in is fine, and i can send sync through it to other machines, so the thru is fine, but i just can't seem to tell the a6 to send its note (and maybe controller) data out to the q-80!

Does anyone know of any menu settings i may have overlooked, or do you think the problem is in the q-80? i was able to sequence channels on my RS7000 fine so i'm really wondering. i would still be doing that but i can't spare the channels...

speaking of that, out of curiosity, what does everyone sequence their andy's on anyways??? I'm guessing Macs...
