I wouldn't say "problems" with the A6, not of a substantial sort (some
small things, like doing polyphonous FM, LFOs don't go up to audio rates,
really, more feature issues than show-stoppers, all in all); but there are good
reasons, other than interface, that people will buy a Voyager along with or even
instead of an Andromeda. It really depends on what you're looking for --
if you're a Moog sound fanatic, there's really only one choice out there --
Moog. If you're looking for a massive, 16-voice analogue synth with such
extensive control capabilities that it's almost like having a modular, the
Andromeda is far cheaper than an equivalent Blacet or Wiard setup.

Hello,

I want to buy a Andromeda. My impression is that
(A6) analog sounds superior compared with analog modeling synth's. Is it true
that the Andromeda vs Voyager discussion is a pure luxury problem (you don't
compare a ferrari with a fiat uno, or somethig like that) Or are there real
(not luxery) problems with te A6. On internet discussion sites there are
people that are ranking the A6 with a 10 and there are how rank it a
2. Big difference who is that possible ? Is it the high price that make
magazines and users so full of criticism. When i read a a article about a
novation or other modeling synth's most of the times the comments
are possitive. There are many possitive articles, but there is also
much criticism over the A6.

It is a old discussion, i now. But is it the real
analog sound that makes the A6 only comparable with moogs and a view
other analog synth's. Finaly it's the sound that you hear.
